As quilters...

We live in the unmade moments. All of the quilts in our heads are unmade but they are just as beautiful to us as those that won awards. We delight in this moment when dreams can be manifested.

As women...

We delight in unmade days. When we forego makeup, hairspray, and *gasp* even bras, and are just comfortable in our own skin. We should have more unmade days.

As mothers...

We cherish unmade beds. We teach (dare I say ’nag’) our children to make their beds yet those unmade beds are missed when the rooms become empty. An unmade bed is a place where our child was warm and comfortable in the night. We hope all quilts find their way to an unmade bed.
